The product must be injected by a physician. It is injected into the superficial part of the skin for fine lines, and into deeper areas for wrinkles and other more pronounced areas.
The treatment can be performed in as little as 15 minutes, but can also take longer depending on the area to be treated.
The professional in charge of your treatment injects under the skin’s surface with an ultra-fine needle in superficial areas for fine lines, and in slightly deeper areas for more pronounced wrinkles and folds.
Please note that injecting Juvederm Ultra requires a medical procedure that can only be carried out by a doctor (dermoesthetician, dermatologist, plastic surgeon).
After injection, slight redness, swelling and bruising may appear around the injection site. As with any injection, there is a risk of infection. Most of these effects,
mild to moderate, disappear within a few days and are not serious.
