HARmonyCa Lidocaine is a dermal filler for facial soft tissue augmentation, to be injected into the deep dermal and subcutaneous layers.

It’s a dual-action hybrid injectable that combines calcium hydroxy apatite with hyaluronic acid.

What does Allergan Harmonyca filler contain?

HArmonyCa contains both calcium hydroxyapatite and Hyaluronic Acid. The synergy of these two ingredients stimulates collagen production and enhances hydration of the skin’s underlayer.

It contains 0.3% lidocaine to reduce pain.

HArmonyCa™ Lidocaine is a sterile, pyrogen-free, viscous, opaque, injectable, semi-solid, latex-free and biodegradable dermal implant. It consists of synthetic calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres, formulated at a concentration of 55.7%, suspended in a cross-linked sodium hyaluronate gel from a non-animal source, and is supplied in a pre-filled 1.25 mL graduated glass syringe. The implant is intended for subcutaneous and deep cutaneous use in specific facial regions. The product contains 0.3% (w/v) lidocaine hydrochloride to reduce pain during treatment.

How does Harmonyca filler work?

HArmonyCa is usually injected into the dermis using a cannula. After injection, hyaluronic acid diffuses into the deep dermis, providing a post-injection lifting effect.

The calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres in harmonyca stimulate fibroblasts to bind to them.

Fibroblasts will synthesize collagen and elastin within the first week, recreating a framework in the dermis.

After 9 to 12 months, the hyaluronic acid has disappeared, but the collagen framework induced by HArmonyCa will persist.
