The injection must be performed by a doctor. Juvederm ULTRA SMILE contains lidocaine for optimum comfort. Your doctor may also use an anesthetic cream to make the injection session as pleasant as possible. Once the area to be treated has been washed and anesthetized, the doctor will inject the product using one of the syringes included in the box. The technique your doctor employs will depend on the desired result.
After injection, massage the skin in the area where the injection took place to ensure proper distribution of the product.
Finally, your doctor may apply ice to the treated areas for about ten minutes to limit swelling and inflammation.
